The building itself is charming, but unfortunately quality in food and service has somehow gotten worse. Chapati has always filled a niche for "Indian food in Downtown Northfield," but has never been the best Indian food in Northfield. Until it became the *only* Indian food in Northfield. Sorry to be so scathing, but I feel like I need to counteract all of the ultra-positive reviews. If you don't mind oily food and poor service, just need a quick fix for something vaguely resembling popular Indian food, then you'll probably be fine with Chapati. Just stick with the absolute basics; the last Malai Kofta I had there was vile. If you love Indian food, I recommend getting in your car and driving about 40 min North of Chapati.
