Ellefson Builders, Inc.

We recently sold our home in Winona Mn ........it was recommended that as a prerequisite to the sale I should have a radon evaluation. The reports suggested that a radon elimination system be installed. Ellefson builders were recommended to us and I contacted Mike Ellefson for an estimate. I was quoted a price and sent a $500.00 check that I was told would insure the job being done prior to the closing date. The check was cashed. as the closing date got closer I received a note that my job was NOT going to be completed and it would not happen until after the closing. I was informed that I was to be penalized by having one and a half times the amount held in escrow. His estimate, my deposit cashed, and now I need to have my money held up because of their lack of competence......be very cautious.......
