I've bought two systems from Heartthrob, one for my 2004 F250 and one for my 2005 Ram 2500, both diesel. I went with the 4 inch aluminized pipes and straight glass pack mufflers on both. Both were cat-back systems.
I installed both by myself, and had no trouble. The online photos at Heartthrob let you know how it should look when complete.
The chassis fit was really good once I cut for my wheelbase. I used a sawzall to cut and then a file to clean up the edge.
I also added the polished 5 inch tip. Its a bolt-on and should get a couple tack welds to keep it from walking away.
The F250 has a noticeable turbo whine which I enjoy. It dropped EGTs about 100F for typical daily driving. The Ram has a nice rumble when accelerating. I didn't have a pyro installed so can't comment on EGT.
I'm happy and very satisfied with both products, and would recommend their cat-back systems for diesels.
