One upgrade in one year with a below average gym. RENTER BEWARE! They will give you a “first year renter deal” and then increase your rent by 15%. Average rent increase per year is 2 - 3%. They claim it’s due to the market with other rentals in the area and comparing buildings. Nonsense.
Other buildings in the area have new amenities, real wood floors, an actual gym, a doorman, in unit washer/dryer, central heat/air, (heating system in this building is from the 1960s and NO central air). And....the management company for this building is misleading and will tell you the rent increase is minimal. According to them, a $200 increase in rent after one year is minimal. The average after one year is $50.
