What an amazing apartment! I moved in a few weeks ago and cannot recommend the building and its staff enough. I have a 1br on the 11th floor facing the river and couldn't be more pleased with the unit.
The designers thought of everything and then some. Beautiful stone countertops, spacious balcony, huge windows, and a really innovative custom island that comfortably fits four counter-height stools.
Jamie Pedersen was my leasing agent, and while I saw a few reviews mention her by name before applying, I cannot speak highly enough of her. She is professional, responsive, and friendly. She made every step from application to move in painless and efficient. For example, the same day I returned my move-in checklist with a number of very minor damages from prior tenants, I received an email from the building staff asking if I would like any items repaired. Combine that with the friendly front desk, security staff, and community events it is clear the building team places a high priority on resident satisfaction and engagement. Anyone put off by old reviews giving mixed reactions to prior building management need not worry.
A few items I didn't know before moving in:
- The building has built-in storage units available for rent (at very affordable prices), which are very convenient.
- There is also a CenturyLink modem-router-combo in every unit that can be instantly activated at a discounted Latitude 45 rate that I recommend.
- I was worried the 1br units wouldn't be big enough for a king size bed, but it fits perfectly with two nightstands, a full headboard, and a 1.5'x5' TV stand. It could fit a ~19" dresser if you really wanted, but it would make the head of the bed a little tight to walk around.
- There is more cabinets in the kitchen then you can fill; didn't realize how much storage there really was.
- My unit has a shower, not a soaking tub, which you can't find pictures of online. It is stunning, however. Hand-grouted subway tile and 9' tall glass window and door. You could fit a small patio table and two chairs in there it is so large.
- A number of the living room and bedroom outlets are switch activated, so plan accordingly.
- The built-in desk does have a cable port for you to string your wires down below elegantly.
- The tap water is phenomenal and I haven't even unpacked my britta it is so good.
- You get to meet the friendlies dogs in the elevator here
For moving in I had two adults with me and hired two local movers to help unload for about $200. We were able to unload everything, unpack, and clean within six hours. The building staff reserve you the freight elevator which has direct access to the heated garage, so moving in was a breeze. Jamie even made arrangements to have my keys ready so I could move in early in the AM on the weekend. They also had a nice gift bag and hand written card waiting for me on the kitchen island. I highly recommend hiring a few guys to help you unload because it goes so much faster and wasn't that expensive.
I can't think of much else to say besides you will like the building, the location, and the staff. Everything is high quality, maintained well, and very clean. If you're looking for a place that will impress your friends and family, look no further than Latitude 45.
