Northwood Power Equipment

I've been to this place twice. Both experiences I was shaking my head when I left. 1st time I was looking for a spark plug for my lawn mower. I went in with model number of the mower and told the kid behind the counter I needed a plug for it. He says what kind of plug? Before I get a chance to answer he says "A butt plug?" I walked out. Said I would never shop there again. That's was about a month ago. Then last night I stopped there cause I knew they had snow blowers on the showroom floor already and I wanted to see a certain one to see how the power steering worked. (The place I'm going to buy from hasn't put out the display models yet). So I walked up to the machine a wanted and inspected the mechanism that I was interested in. The same kid from the last visit walks up to me and I ask how much? He says its. 700$ or 750$. He forgot to mark that one. Me, Knowing that it cost 1299$ everywhere else I told him to go double check. Then the other guy working there walks up and says no it's 999$. I said are you sure? And he says yep. 999$. I told him, I'll take it. Then he rings it up gives me a coupon for 50$ off and then tells me the total is 1337$ and some change. I like at my wife and shook my head. Told him he said 999$. And he told me no I didn't. I said 1299$. I don't know who exactly runs that place. But if they don't do some personal changes it won't be around much longer. And anyone who knows me knows I prefer to give my money to a small business rather than the big corporate stores.
