Stromberg's Chicks & Gamebirds

I went to buy chickens locally in West Jefferson, NC and some gentleman had bought over 200 chicks and all I wanted was 5 of the buff orpingtons. Found Strombergs online and ordered five chicks. They were very prompt and courteous ( spoke with them a couple times on the phone)and received the chicks via mail service on the date I requested. When they arrived, instead of five chicks I found eight. A neighbor explained to me that this is routine in case you lose any of them via the mail system. I only lost one due to physical problems and not biological problems. Needless to say they are happy healthy chicks that came with instructions especially for someone who's never raise chickens before. Would definitely use them again and they have a wonderful product section as well. I would recommend Stromberg's to anyone!

Strombergs emailed us the exact date our baby chicks would be mailed out with clear instructions for us to get organized. We contacted our post office, made sure we knew what building they would be shipped to, and watched the videos. We were ready...so much so I was working on the baby chick set up when the post office called! The post office called us real early in the day so we were able to dash and get them. So far the baby chicks are doing great! Here is the other cool thing... we only ordered 5 chicks because we didn't need a big flock. We were treated like we ordered 500 !!!! Thanks Strombergs!!!!
