Walgreens Pharmacy

I have frequented the Walgreens on Nicollet Mall because of its central location and access in the Minneapolis skyway system. Also, I do appreciate the Walgreens reward program. I have from time to time recieved $5.00 off on my purchases. Like most retail places, it can be hit or miss with staff. When the place is hopping, it can be hard to find assistance and cashiers seem to be under pressure to get customers through the line. However, I have been struck by the number of times that a Walgreens employee will leave the restocking task in fromnt of them to actually assist cutomers on finding requested products in this two-floor shopping menagerie. Look for weekly specials as well as discounts on products that have a short shelf-life of seasonal products, i.e., winter scarves, dog coats, Ghirardelli chocolate bars, unusual (OK...maybe downright weird) "As Seen On TV" products. This particular Walgreens offers a great amount of variety on many products. From kitsch to necessities, all will find somwthing useful and wanted...or, at keast, on sale!
