I am a person of color and I wish to share my honest feedback of the type of service that I received at Bobby & Steve's Auto World located at 1820 South Robert Street in West St Paul on January 13, 2018.
On that day I went to the shop to put air in my car tires. Since I didn't have an air pressure measuring pen, and needed guidance, I asked a mechanic (a white male in his late 40s to early 50s) for help. Upon asking for help, the mechanic looked at me with a blank stare and said, "I'm not going outside, it's too cold," and then told me I had to do it myself.
I even offered to pay for the service, but he refused to serve me.
Based on this humiliating experience, it's unlikely I will ever return to Bobby & Steve's Auto World, and will not recommend my friends or family to go there as well.
