I had a loss in my family and we used the services here. It was shocking to be treated in the manner we were. From the moment I stepped in the door, the first person to greet us acted as if we were interrupting them. There wasn’t a funeral or anything going on, just employees standing around talking. We then meet with another person to cover our options. He was not very sympathetic to our situation and he “just wanted to get this paperwork done”. You are dealing with people going through grief. We wanted to do this paperwork as little as you do, but you must handle the situation better.
At this time, some of our family members were not able to all get together to discuss a few last details. Because of this, we decided to change where we would have the visitation. With much huff and puff from the funeral director he eventually made the changes. This was the least professional place like this I have ever gone to.
We used the private viewing room while we were there. It is next to a room with lots of pounding and saws. In-between all the noises from those, all you could hear were employees laughing and having very loud conversations. If you know a family is in the other room, please be respectful and quiet down for a few minutes.
It is the McDonald’s of funeral services.
