Went to minute clinic to get my dot physical taken care of. I am 52 yrs old female who has had endometrial ablation 7 years ago.I was refused a 2 year medical certification card and given a 3month card. the reason given to me was because I had blood in my urine due to my period. she told me because of my AGE I AM in menopause and have had the ablation, and that I "don't get periods". She has no clue. I told her I get my period every month. I made her call her supervisor (I was sitting right there) who refused to talk to me. The nurse, who seemed to be competent lacked any social skills or common sense. She even said I could have cancer due to the blood in my urine, but refused to acknowledge that I could even menstruate due to my age. What a misinformed nurse practitioner. I belong to a site for truck drivers, and will post the disappointing visit with this CVS site.
