Wired money to purchase a vehicle. Was later told by Ian, the salesman, that they had put the vehicle back up in the air to do one more safety inspection and found a crack in the frame. He said he sincerely apologized that we can't move forward and that if it's any consolation it'll ultimately be scrapped. After calling the shop mechanic I found out that the vehicle wasn't inspected further. Spoke with Thomas, the salesmanger, and he indicated that the truth was that they had taken a deposit a few days before. It's highly questionable as to why there was a wire accepted despite there being a deposit and as Thomas had sent an email to Ian with the wire banking information.
