Had an Amazon package delivered today, or I should say thrown at my door step today. I was standing near my front door when suddenly I heard two loud thuds outside. My dog barked and I looked immediately to see what it was. Noone was to be seen. I open the door and I saw a package packed half way under my rug outside. Only way that could of happened is if someone actually lifted my rug up and placed it there, which did not happen since I was by my front door which has windows so I can see if someone walks up to my door. Or if it was thrown from a distance and slid under the rug by force which seems to be the case here. I walked outside, looked around and saw a white van with a woman looking to be in her 50s starting to drive off. She had brown curly hair a little past the shoulder and was wearing glasses. On the back license plate was the symbol for the post office so I knew it was not just a generic courier. She looked at me and proceeded to leave as fast as she could.
The package clearly states leave at front door if no response. Well I was home and my door bell never rang and a knock was never heard since I was standing right next to my door cleaning. This was a christmas present for my mother and it was just thrown on to my porch. Very disappointing to see this is how our government employees act with other people's things.
Needless to say I know nothing will be done about this, but at least try to hire people who can and will actually walk the less than twenty feet from my driveway to my front porch to at least attempt to try and see if someone is home. Throwing my package becasue your lazy is ridiculous.

I pay for a box --- and they "lose" packages regularly. There is nothing I can do... their word against mine. I got the box because the carrier was a nightmare and terrible at her job-- no one got the correct mail.
